Fourtrack 2.8 Turbo oil feed.

Subject : Fourtrack 2.8 Turbo oil feed.
I wonder if anyone would be able to help me with a little information?

I have fitted the above engine into an old series III L'rover and am finding that it takes an unacceptable time to lift oil pressure when started.

I am thinking that the oil feed to the turbo should perhaps have a non return valve to hold the oil up there when the engine is stationary? I know that the banjo bolt was missing on my engine and that I fitted a plain banjo.

Does anyone know if I'm barking up the right tree cos to be honest, this is pretty much a guess?
